In one of my projects I have a wall with reveals on it horizontal and vertical. If I select the paint tool, it automatically recognizes the areas in between the reveals as distinct parts of the wall which can be painted differently from each other. In a different project, reveals are not having that effect, so if I try to paint the wall it will paint the whole wall. So to paint the wall different for different areas I'd need to split face. Any ideas why in the first project it the reveals seem to automatically be splitting the face?
