Try to create another detached file and discard worksets and try to tick audit before opening the files and see if helps. Thanks

  • If you have Detached the Central File and opened it into your home computer , you have to resave the File as Central File. The problem is that you'll have to swap the Office Central with your New Central File ....and every member of the team will have to accept this..

Anyway when saving you have no other option.

  • I suppose you work at office in Worksharing with other team memebers...so why don't you use Workset facilities?
    1. You can select the Workset (Worksets) of which you are in charge of and mark them as Editable ( Editable - Yes) so you'll become their owner.
    2. Synchronize
    3. Then when closing instead of Relinquish all mine, chose Keep Ownership  option
    4. Now , being the owner of this(these) Workset (s) no other team members will be able to make changes to your owned workset (s). They will need your agreement to do it..
    5. When coming back to office , take care to open your LOCAL file and synchronize with the Central
    6. take care not to change User Name while working in your local file.

Do not discard worksets if it is needs to remain a central model.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
