Worksets in 2016 update1 R2 change to last active when syncing

Hello,

I have a couple projects where the active workset changes to the last active from anyone working on the model.  We have casework and furniture on separate worksets and if someone syncs that was in casework whenever the next person syncs their active workset changes to that workset.  I don't recall this ever being an issue prior.

Anyone else see this or know of a way I can set the worksets not to jump unless the users selects it.

Thank you

Hi, Jason,

I'm Judy, a Revit specialist, and I'll be happy to try to help solve your issue. Sounds like you have, for example, two people working in a model, and when one syncs with Workset A active, and when the second person (who is working in another workset) syncs after that, the second person finds the active workset has been changed to Workset A, is that right? I haven't seen this problem, either, but I'd be happy to have a look at your model if you'd like to send it to me.

One thing that you might want to look at first is to make sure that all users are using the latest build of Revit 2016. Here's a link to our knowledgebase page that shows the current build information for all Revit releases.

Let me know if updating helps, or if that's not relevant, feel free to send me your file.

Cheers,

Judy Staicer

Hi, Jason,

Just wanted to check in with you to see if installing Update 2 for R2 corrects the issue you're having with the active workset being changed when you sync. Please let me know if you had any success with this.

Thank you!
