Working with Framing Members

I'm trying to learn how to create actual framing member views starting with adding a beam system for a floor joist representation.

How do I unpin, or ungroup, the resulting joists so I can copy, paste, split, manipulate individual joists?

Found the answer in the modify tab. Kind of misleading but when I clicked on "Remove Beam System" it ungrouped and I can now select individual joists and edit them.
