wood curved beam - variabile section, editing endings of beam

Hello,

I have two easy question. First. Is there any way how to edit or make curved beam with variabile section/height ?

The point is, beam have big moment forces at specific place, and beam should change his height at this place.

Bellow you can see my beam.

Second. I did make beam by 3D snapping by pick line on the curved mass. But end of beam has small radius and beam endings looks not good. How can I edit beams endings?

Thank you.

Model it as an in place model extrusion is one approach.  Model it as a wall and edit profile is another.

You mean like this Beam?

Do it with the Spline tool.

...regarding first question: do you mean a concentric as opposed to not concentric?  You can toggle between both.  See Options Bar.

You need to make a new structural framing families that will be made of two or more blend sweeps

@majo6541

Create form using a parametric profile (repeated on a divided path) … Given the moment and the desired base you should be able to compute/derive the height of the profiles at each point
