Wireframe objects

Wireframe objects visible when not in wireframe mode. What causes this and how can it be fixed? See image attached.

Check the location of the blue line in the elevation marker in a plan view, it may be located inside the model--if so, move it out in front of the model.

 

Check to see if any elements have a graphic override to Transparent.

 

Check if graphics/video card driver is up to date.

 

Check if Hardware Accelleration is turned on/ off in Options>Graphics

 

See if any cad imprts/links have Origin greater than 20 miles away from model--this can sometimes cause unexpected graphics behaviour.

To add to the points mentioned by Cliff.

 

I see something similar happen when I have thin objects. For example when I have a thin panel (e.g. 2 mm) and perpendicular to that I have an object it will "shine" through. When zooming in this often dissapears and all/most of the time will not show up on printouts.

Probably this is due to combination of revit calculations/graphics card. So something similar might be happening to you.
