Hi,

While tagging windows in walls or in some places the tag are not in order but it is showing same values. I think i have changed some default settings. Can you help me to restore the default options.

Thank you.

Are you saying you want them to have different numbers? Modify you tag label and change from TYPE MARK to MARK.

@Abi135

No doubt you have sorted this out by now, but for the benefit of future readers, you have to edit the Window Tag family.

  1. In the Family Editor, select the Label in the tag.
  2. In the Properties palette, select the Edit button in the right column opposite the Label parameter (under the Graphics category).  That will open the Edit Label dialog.
  3. Select the Mark parameter from the list box at the left side of the Edit Label dialog.
  4. Select the Add parameter(s) to label button, in the middle of the Edit Label dialog (green arrow icon, pointing right).  This will add the Mark parameter to the label.

Then select the Type Mark parameter in the Label Parameters list box on the right side of the Edit Label dialog and choose the Remove parameter from label button in the middle of the Edit Label dialog (red arrow icon, pointing left), to remove the Type Mark value from the label.

Select the OK button to ratify the changes and dismiss the dialog.  Save the family (perhaps with a different name, to distinguish it from the one that uses the Type Mark parameter, if you have a need to have both, and to avoid confusion with the out-of-the-box tag), then load it into your project (and, if renamed, replace any existing tags with the new family).
