Windows in group cut wall

Hey.

I have a situation, where i have windows and doors in a group. But the wall they are placed in, is not in the group. How do i cut out the windows and doors?

They should. Do you have warnings associated with the group instance?  What happens when you edit the group and "Pick New Host"for the elements in the group?  

...by chance, are you using Phasing?

these families are a hosted family you need to pick a new host for all elements i group
