I noticed the oddest thing today. Since I had a lot of files in the project folder, I tried filtering by file extension. The list returned all the files except the one that I was looking for. When I turned off the extension filtering it showed up again. Not a Revit problem but thought it might be worth posting. Of course, if anyone else has ever had that problem, I'd be interested.
Also, when I opened Revit, the RVT file showed up as a Family, not as a project.
