Hello,

I am trying to add windows to the home I am designing. The glass should be in the middle of the wall cavity, but I don't know how to put it there. I have added windows from the "Fixed.rfa" family, but I can't get the glass to be in the center of the wall.

The image above is the window as it has currently been placed with the glass on the exterior (not middle).

How can I fix this?

Select the window >Properties >Edit Type>Type Properties>Dimensions>Window Inset -change the value as you want..

Hi Constatin,

Is ther anyway to move the windows in to the middle for every wall thickness. I try to move the referance plane on edting family. But it did not allow me to move it. Thank you in advance.

I've made a change in Window Family so that it can be placed into the wall thicknes taking as reference the center of the wall. When Parameter is 0,00N then the window is placed in the center of the wall.

The Window Family is attached.
