window tag duplications

Linking 10 files into master file where I do dimensioning and taging

Window tags in master file elevations are duplicated x 6 each over the top of each other.

Window tags in master file plans not duplicated.

Window schedule in master file shows 6 of each window number.

I have gone back into linked files and also performed a window schedule but they don't show duplication.

Can someone please assist.

Maybe you duplicate your link file in the master file, you need to check if before you maybe wrong copy your link and in your master file has two copies of them

Hi

To start with Windows tagging,

1. Tag windows in Linked file..Exam LinkedFile-PLAN-Window tags

2. In Master File, you don't need to tag them again, just go to VG, Linked Revit, View " by linked view" and

choose " Linked-File-PLAN" you will get the exact annotation, graphics from the linked model..

tag windows in linked model, and in masterfile, VG, Revit links, Display settings, by linked view..tag windows in linked model, and in masterfile, VG, Revit links, Display settings, by linked view..
