Window Schedule from Linked Models - Only Shows Materials in Itemized Setting

I have several linked models in a host model, I am trying to populate a window schedule in the host model that includes all windows from the linked models. The material and finish will only populate if I show every itemized instance. However I need to show the total of each window type, not the individual itemized.

I have triple checked to make sure that the information in the schedule from the linked models is all the same.

Help!?

Sort by Type and then by Material

That helped, however it lists some type marks more than once, look at FW04

Too small to read. But my first thought is something is different between them.

:bestürztes_Gesicht:I found the solution, the ONLY difference was the materials were inputted into the Linked Model Files in all caps in some files, lowercase in otherwise. Changing them to all be in caps fixed it. VERY frustrating! You would think Revit would be able to distinguish between the two and recognize them as the same.

thanks for your help,

Glad I could help get you there.  Could we share the credit?  Or no?
