Please help, why does this window overriding the wall line thickness while this door doesn't
thanks for ur replay, but if i understood u correctly, that didn't solve the problem.
Looks to me like the window has a masking region over the jamb, where the door does not. However it looks on your screen, these two conditions may or may not print the same, depending on your print dialog settings under 'Region edges mask coincident lines.'
thanks for ur replay, and i attached u the window family
I checked out your family. Unfortunately I cannot answer definitely because I could not duplicate the issue. My walls look fine, see below.
So, could be a couple things. First, are they the same wall types? Do they have the same wrapping at inserts?
Second, an issue is that all your family elements are modeled, with visibility settings set to 'when cut in RCP/Plan'. When any portion of the family is cut by the model's view range, all of the model elements will show up. Realize that the appearance of a window family in a model is not based on cutting through the family using the model's view range. In the model, the window family is only a symbol based on the view range cut plan of the floor plan view in the family.
To access that cut plane, you have to go to the selection drop-down in the properties box. If you cycle through your different window size types in your model, you'll notice that some other sizes look even worse (see below 0406mm x 0610mm type). This is why.
That's what happens when you have Cut Line style ticked. Can you post the door family as well?
