Will revit API return mouse distance traveled?

I was thinking it would be cool to have a Revit add-in that reported distance traveled by mouse. Does anyone know if it is possible to get this info?

Screen (pixel) coordinates, or real-world? And... why exactly would this be cool?

Pixel distance traveled. Then also how long its taking the user get the buttons they want. The goal would be to analyze how efficient they are in finding buttons and basically incentivize the use of keyboard shortcuts. I know it sounds easier then it probably really is.

How would it know when the user started looking for the button?

What if they change there mind on their way to the button?

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
