Why wont family insert into model

I have created a floor based generic model.  It includes a cutout in the floor. why when I try to place import it and place it in another project does this generic model return an error message "can't make type "pole_base1" ".  ?  Could someone look at the model, attached and tell me why?  I am stumped.  Thanks.

I will download and take a look  later on, but chances are it's due to some constraint or other which can make the type when imported in.

There is something going on with the 4 groups in the family. It works fine with these ungrouped

I guess i need to not have 3d groups in families.   Perfecto, Thanks!!!

To add to the confusion, this model is linked thru a360 and C4r to consultants models and the structural engineer has floors in his which have to be turned off for it to show properly.

You would be better working with nested families for this. In terms of the collaboration shouldn't this "belong" to structures? Could the structural engineer copy/monitor this so it cuts the slab?
