Why the asset material library is empty?

As you can see, when i open the asstlibrary it shows nothing in the list, however i can see them from the source browser, how could i solve that guys?

That is normal...In the material browser you see material and in the asset browser you see assets...

NOTE: Assets are not material they are the properties that defines material (Graphics/Appearance/Physical/Thermal)

Is this about the thumbnail for Materials using the default "Generic" Appearance Asset?
