I'va got a new computer, MSI WS63 with Nvidia Quadro P3200. I installed all the drivers for the Quadro from the official Nvidia site. I have updated also DirectX. And installed, and reinstalled Revit 2019, but it dont recognize my Video Card.
I can't install the drivers from the official Autodesk site. It says that "They doesn't detec the necessary hardware". I think it is because drivers are done for "Dell" computers, as their name says:
| Dell Mobile Driver Release for NVIDIA Quadro 391.56 |
Why are they made only for Dell computers?
Moreover, i can go to the Nvidia panel, and I select Nvidia card for Revit, and i have switched also all the other options. But revit always says to me: Hardware acceleration disabled. Software emulation mode is in use. And if I go to Hardware, in Options, it apperas Video Card: Not found.
Is this a laptop (FYI, most won't want to go digging through the internet to look up specs from an obscure model number)? If so, check options for things like power management. Mobile GPUs are usually turned off to save battery power. They also sometimes come with "smart switching" software which tends to get in the way.
