This little Double Lave family has bugged me for a long time. I have figured out ways to get around the way it misbehaves by hacking detail lines or putting to single lave families together on one wall.
Nevertheless, if someone could tell me why the second lave keeps disappearing when I insert it into a project, you would be helping me both to simplify my workflow and teach me something I didn't know about how Revit works. Any help is appreciated.
Let's check out the family. Could be any number of explanations. Post it here.
I thought I loaded it in the original. Apologies. Thanks for the offer of help. It should be attached now.
Thee are types with Length too short that the sink is outside of the host (see screenshot).
If you want to keep the sinks in the family, I would create a family for single sink configuration and a family for multi-sink configuration. Use array for the multi-sink family if you ever need more than 2 when the counter length increases. Another option is not including the sink in the counter family, but placing it directly in project for flexibility.
Nothing seems to be disappearing on my end! Well unless it is too short to fit 2 lol ie: As long as the counter is long enough the nested Lavatories work fine. That being said, it doesn't make sense how you locked and constrained them...you didn't try to flex the Family did you?
