Why do reveals on split walls show the material on the bottom of the wall and not the material where the reveal is?

I can't find an explanation to this any where on the internet so I'm asking again.

But yeah the reveals should show the EIFS that it is placed in but instead it shows the stone that makes up the water-table on the wall.

Any options to fix this? If it helps to know this reveal is a family I made.

My guess is that the depth of the reveal is greater than the depth of the EIFS, so basically, you have "removed" the EIFS and are seeing the material of the wall behind it.

How'd I do?

Nope. Because the EIFS has a 3 5/8" depth while the depth of the reveal is 5/8". furthermore, if i understand a split wall correctly, there is no brick behind it the EIFS at all. Just the waterproofing then structure.

edit: changed "stacked wall" to "split wall"

Stacked Walls are 2 different WALL TYPES. Is this what you mean? Or do you mean a single Wall Type having a Split Region defined in its Assembly?

Sorry for the confusion, as my original post mentions, it is a SPLIT wall. not a stacked wall as my reply says.

Post a screenshot of your Wall's Edit Assembly dialog box with Section Preview in Consistent Color Mode.

...or make it easier and just post your Project File (RVT) here for us to inspect.
