Why do I not have any legend components listed even when I'm in a legend view?

Even in legend view I have no options listed under legend components. I'm specifically looking to create a 2D door legend.

I had the same problem when I first learn about legend. When you're in the legend view go to the families (that is on the bottom of the legend) and drag whatever components you want in the legend.

This worked! I just had to change it to Front View and it worked great. Thank you so very much. This is a huge help.
