This seems rather simple, yet Revit is refusing to add a fascia to a side of the roof that is not a sraight line and is an arc instead. Any comments?

In Revit 2023 at the moment and I did get it to work. Is your fascia more complex than a rectangle? Sometimes it'll struggle with even semi-complex profiles.
Are you sure the actual roof edge is visible in the view? Not clipped by crop boundary or section box?
Not complex at all. Really, just a rectangle. I'll try it in 2023. The model I'm working on is in 2022.
So I just tried it in 2023. It works if the roof is flat and has no slope. If I add slope to one of the lines, then it refuses to create the fascia.
Hello.
Am I right in understanding this thread - Revit 2023 (full version) can't create a fascia on a curved roof plan? On this basis, I presume it's safe to work on the basis that Revit Light won't either.
Thanks.
Having a similar issue. (v2023.1) The roof element is flat, and the fascia will click to the portions that are arcs, but the weird spline curve (which is EXACTLY how the client wants it!! lol) won't take the fascia. It takes the click, but the segment isn't placed/doesn't appear. The entire roof object was line-picked from imported .dwg geometry. The only way I could get it to work was to recreate the spline by using a series of arcs.
