Why can i not move a group left to right sometimes, or up or down?

I am trying to move this group down:

but it is stuck, I can only move it left to right.  How can I get it t move down?

Uncheck Constrain, check Disjoin from Option bar when moving.

Maybe there is a piece of your group that is on a Reference Plane. Did you Model something In-Place?
