If you want to make them appear in 3D, make a 3D family of it. '2D' is in nearly all cases view specific.

Are you talking about the toilet? What you are are seeing in the View is a Detail (2D) Representation. If you'd rather see 3D Geometry, then go into the Family and select the Geoletry and change its Visibility Settings to show the geometry in Plan/RCP.  Then delete the Detail representation linework/Masking.

That did resolve the problem but there are so many families that has this issue .

Is there some faster way to do this like by using Dynamo.

It's not really an issue. The families are made that way by design.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

The easiest way without modifying all the families are not using a floor plan view, but a 3d view, and right click the view cube, choose orient to view, and choose the floor plan.  Now you will see everything in 3d form.

I am trying to save time using revit to make rendered plans and elevations instead rendering them in Photoshop.

By this I get 3d views of my project along with rendered plans and elevation.

It also time since whatever change I make to my model is automatically applied on the plans but ironically  this issue end up wasting some of the time.

So is Revit also meant for making rendered plans?
