And Sub-Zero, Cove, Bosch etc. RFA BIM files in general. Thanks

The question is vague and specific at the same time. I guess the answer is: the RIGHT Version. How'd I do?
Will 2020 Revit do what I want or do I need an earlier version like 2018? Can I install the educational versions of both software to find out? Will 2018 Revit exchange files with 2020 3ds max? I think I will install 2020 to start out and see how that works. Thanks
@ToanDN: What about Marvin, Pella, Jen Weld? Which version of Revit opens RFAs from them?
@bkjernisted: Understand the Revit is only Forward-Compatible -- not Backward-Compatible. In other words, you can open any Revit file in the Version it was created and in a later Version, but you cannot Open a Revit File created or saved in a Version that is later than the Version of Revit you are using. I emphasized "or saved in" for a reason. If you are sharing your files with someone using an earlier Version of Revit than you are using, they will not be able to open your file. Period.
