Which Schedules to use to capture everything

Hello,

I have a model for landscape construction which includes items like:

  1. Wall with built in pool coping sweep
  2. Wall (as insitu stair riser) with arrised dropface pavement - 20mm thick tread and 40mm thick riser
  3. Stairs using the stair tool with multiple materials
  4. Modified floors for slab falls and planter box soil depths
  5. Families like lights and planter boxes

What schedule combination would you suggest to provide the information on all modelled elements clearly?

-A material take-off won't show length of built-in sweeps

-A parts schedule won't work for stairs or modified floors

-Quantity schedules won't show area differences in material layers on floors (e.g. a slab edge cutting through FCR under a slab).

At this stage I'm tempted to make a bunch of schedules and manually copy what I need into a Key Schedule.

Any advice appreciated.

I use separate schedules on sheet.  If I need to have a tally, I export them to Excel files and datalink them onto one table.  When the Revit model changed, export overwrite the old files and refresh the datalink.

That's unfortunate but thanks for the response.

I ended up having to use separate schedules for everything eg. stair runs and pavements, even though they use the same materials.
