Where to Find Shared Parameter File...?!

I am making a component that I want to be able to schedule. I can't find the Share Parameter text file anywhere to build into my component.. can anyone help? I'm assuming there has to be a generic one that comes with Revit?

If it makes a difference, I am making casework components.

gosh, another subscription for a not really required "service" .

I can feel the remaining blood dripping onto the stone already.

I do hope,  that this does not mean this is a medium term strategy, to remove manual shared parameter file creation, and editing from the program, as that would be akin to something quite unpleasant.

Seeing as shared parameters are a core feature in Revit, I doubt your fears are warranted. Usually, add-ins only make it convenient to do things that are already possible in Revit.
