You will also be able to find a vanilla bifold door in the OOTB Revit library. Best practice is to take an OOTB family and tweak it to make it what you want it to be. Open the family out of your library, save a copy (NEVER overwrite OOTB stuff!!) and examine it. Trust me - inspiration will follow, and you will be able to tweak it with the best of us. Any questions while you are in the process - there is more than enough skill and experience on this forum to get you out of any sort of hole.
Some pointers -
1) You may need to edit the panels for glazing - select the panel and click on Edit Extrusion to do so. This will take you into sketch mode, where you can add the shape of the glazing and accept so that Revit creates geometry for the glazed panel
2) always always create Reference planes, constrain them with dimensions and parameters, and test them to see if they stay together. Then align and lock geometry to the reference planes.
3) Never lock geometry to geometry - always lock it to reference planes (I learned that the hard way)
HI, Is the All-in-one Revit bi-fold door & parametric doors family, free to download? If so do you have a link to download, Thanks.

Yes thanks, could you show me a path to the OOTB Revit library please?
We may need some guidance on how experienced with Revit you are, in order to tailor advice to suit you. The above request hints that you've just opened Revit for the first time and have zero training whatsoever. Is that right?
On your machine - it should be at
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2017
Yes, I want to create an adjustable bi-fold glazed door, but I have not edited Revit families before.
@Anonymous: I posted this a couple of weeks ago for someone else here on the forum. Should be of help you too. This one is operational from 0 to 90 degrees. The bi-fold is nested in it.
Hi there @Anonymous

Thanks a lot. I just clicked on the 2nd bullet point with hyperlink HERE and found the bifold-2 panel then I load to my project, easy pissy. Though I will have to make a new one from the scratch. but you save me time ![]()
The link to the bi-fold door download is broken. Is Autodesk not offering downloads from their site anymore? I do not have access to any libraries older than 2017 and need a 2-panel bi-fold door.
Thanks
