Where can I find a Layer mapping txt sample file for dwg exports?

Hi everyone.

I am having some struggle to understand how do I have to fill up the txt file that Revit gives us to make dwg exports with category/layer exchange definitions.

The provided txt file includes only the categories and subcategories but there's nothing in the projection and cut fields.

It seems that Revot does not allow to create a txt file from a layer mapping created manually

So, by any chance does anyone have a txt file where I can see how the layer names and colors etc are written in the tabulated file?

Thanks so much

What about the OOTB mapping?  That doesn't guide you?

Make a copy of the OOTB file and edit it in Excel.

In case someone else is looking for the same file as I was, I was able to find a copy here: https://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?75460-Export-Layers-File.

I do not have an OOTB version of that TXT file despite having 2019, 2021, & 2023 installed. Is there another place I could get that sample file?

Have looked in the right folder?

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2022
