when to upgrade your model

Here's a question about upgrading your model.. Is there any reason that I shouldnt upgrade the models i'm working on?  I am currently a one man operation and I dont have anyone to share files with.  Up till now, I would just start using my new updated revit each time i open any project I'm working on... That way..i dont have to go back and forth between two or three revit versions in a day... OR... should I just use revit 2020 for new projects and keep the old stuff where it was...??

One man show? And none of the trades you coordinate with need digital files from you?  Upgrade away then.  I don't see the harm.
