When i open the Material library my CPU increase its temperature

Please how I fix that?

Not sure if you can do something about it. If the processor has a lot of work to do it wil become warmer. This is normal behavior and nothing to worry about (or temperatures must increase dramatically).

Possibly the reason is that Revit (in the background?) is rendering the thumbnails for the materials. As Revit does not use the GPU (AFAIK) for this it will be done by the CPU.

You can do one thing and look for the render settings for the materials (newer versions of Revit have this).

If it is set to Production Quality you might expect more CPU power needed.

Not sure if this will help, and probably that is all you can do about it..
