I extended my railing according an Youtube tutorial to connect rods with a floor. However, the rods of my railing an online tutorial are floating. And in the tutorial, the tutor's railing is correct. His rods of the railing are connect with the floor. So what's wrong with my railing.
Thanks in advance : )

It may be related to the stairs, try to change the option "End with Riser"
First off make sure there is a break in the sketch line for the railing at the end of the stair. If all else fails if you select a single sketch line of rail there is a "Height Correction" value that is set to "By Type" be default, if this is changed to "Custom" then you can adjust the height of the railing to be correct. But as Bialmeida stated there is probably some issue with the stair.
@Anonymous: I'm curious to know what tutorial you are following. Care to share?
No tutorial just years of experience. I did teach a session on railing at several conferences but here is the link to AU. I think it talks about this in the handout.

Oh I see you were addressing the original post. I missed the part that said it was following an online tutorial "blushes". I am glad you enjoyed that presentation. I still give it at clients offices and occasionally a conference will ask me to do it again.
Thank for your answer. And I solved it accidentally and immediately after I posted this problem.
It's just like what you say. I change the option of 'End with Risers'. I canceled this option and the robs of railing just fell down.
