What's the best way to "close" ceilings on two different heights? see screenshot

Hi, i've a room near another room..and in these two rooms the ceiling are on different heights (beacuse of HVAC systems) so it remains a space visible from indoor ..and i'd like to know the best way i can close it with a "wall"

All solutions work, but have a caveat:

1. You could create a new type of wall, containing only a wooden layer.

Of course, it is not really a wall so you need to filter it when you also schedule elements.

2. You could also lock a model line to the edges of the ceiling and model a roof > fascia.

I like this one, but you really need to lock the model lines.

3. You could also model the ceiling as a roof > soffit, that way you don't need model lines to add the fascia.

You would need to schedule soffits instead of ceilings, so it is in the wrong category.

4. Another solution would be to model it as a sweep in place.

If you only have one, there might be no problem, I personally hate to much in place models.

What I like about the fascia is that you can create really nice sweep profiles to go around :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:
