What makes this floor display incorrect?

Why this floor display incorrect ?

My project has two main types of floors, new and existing, and I manage the display graphic using filters.

There is a type parameter for determining if a floor is new or existing, and a filter is applied based on that parameter

The problem occurs when two floors shear the same edge or shear the same edge  with existing walls. The graphic shows this edge as existing.

Hi,

I think you should check the Graphic Overrides in Phasing?

@ralphdenhaan thank you, but the company template based on parameters and filter no phases.

Hi,

The Floors have the same elevation?

If the existing is higher, then overlaps the new.

You can use Modify -> Linework to correct the problem manually.

Hi @youssef.ibrahimM37J6,

The walls will always "override" the floor boundary line if they coincide, as the Wall is higher in the Z-order (where it's cut).

Option would be to make the Cut line width of existing walls thinner than new floor projection lines, then a part of the new floorline will be visible (black vs grey..).

For Floors at the same elevation it is more or less determined by order of elements created, but I also think that overridden lines by ViewFilter will be on the foreground, and "override" default projection lines. Here also set the projected line width of existing to less then the new phase.

So besides halftone also set the projection (and cut) lines width to less than those of the new phase.

@TripleM-Dev.net, Thanks for the post, I appreciate it.

Yes, you are right, the floor elevation determines the visibility style of the object, and you can see the blow isolated new floor, which looks fine, but when the other floor higher is added, it does not look right.

i also tried (So besides halftone also set the projection (and cut) lines width to less than those of the new phase)

but it does not work
