What is the process in revit for updating your model from planning stage to construction stage

I have a model that I have designed up until planning stage

Now that planning has been completed, I want to start adding construction stage drawings

Is this to be done using view templates? or design options? or other

Thanks

What do you mean? There's no quick option to move from one phase of design to the next. Just applying view templates or adding a design option doesn't create construction documents.

For me, the type of views and templates don't change during the design stages. Some views may not exist in earlier stages. YMMV.

If you use massing for the pre-design, I assume your views will actually be different types and templates (since the model changes from a glob of mass, to actual walls and doors etc.)

The stages used in my region are called pre-design, Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documents (CD). I assume what you refer to as "planning" is what I call pre-design. I've seen consultants use Sketchup etc. for pre-design and switch to Revit in SD. I'm more a "Revit all the way guy". Again YMMV.
