Hi everyone,
I'm learning to work with Revit, quite a newbie. I need to download some family libraries and I noticed there are two versions for most language zones - FRA_ and FRA_INTL
I can't figure out what's the difference and which file should I download. Done a couple of google searches but probably I'm missing some keywords cause there's nothing useful in the results.
Cheers
It is more related to language in English for International.
Hello @Łael
I came across your post and wanted to share this information.
FRA_INTL content is a translation into French of Generic US Metric content.
We localize the Generic US Metric content in all Revit supported languages.
FRA content is more relevant to the France locale and to French standards.
Some FRA content may not be available in other languages for example.
It's probably a good idea to install both FRA_INTL and FRA content in order to have access to a wider range of libraries and templates when working with French Revit.
We do not have French content specifically for Canada.
We do have Canadian (CAN) templates and libraries, however they are in English. For Revit 2021:
RVT2021_CAN_FamTemplates_Templates.exe
RVT2021_CAN_Libraries.exe
I hope this information is helpful,
