What floor plan does a roof get drawn on (first or second)? If i have a one story house with 12/12 pitch and couple bedrooms upstairs? If on first floor floorplan it should be placed at Top of second floor level??? If drawn on second floor floorplan it can still be placed on Top of second floor??, but your second floor floorplan will only consist of two gable walls because there are second floor walls just a roof

I'm totally confused. But, maybe hosting your roof to a Level named "Roof" would help you.
If i have a one story house with 12/12 pitch and couple bedrooms upstairs does the roof get drawn on first floor at top of plate or second floor?
I would draw the roof on another Level different than the 1st level because it will be easier to change the roof elevation, and to create views such as Roof plan.
I have no idea what you're asking. I think the easiest thing for you to do, would be to host the roof to its own Level and move that Level up or down.

My last part to this question refers to the walls on second floor. Since the roof edge is the top of "second floor" then the second floor floorplan only shows two end gable walls, is this correct?
Works for me.
