Weird parameter issue: cannot transfer in a parameter because it already exists?

I have an interesting issue: I am trying to transfer in a couple shared parameters in from another project using JOTools Transfer Single. When I try to bring in these three parameters I get this error:

It appears that the shared parameters are already loaded into my project, however, they do not show in the instance properties of the sheet they should be showing in.

My question is how do I remove the existing shared parameters from the project so I can then correctly re-load them in and be able to see and fill them out? There must be a way to see the backend of the project database so I can delete them right?

Normally you could go to the project parameters tool and remove them there, however, they are not showing in that list either.

TIA

Nevermind, I figured it out myself. The original parameters were listed under a different parameter type than what I expected.

I guess the moral of the story is that if you receive that warning, make sure the parameters just are not listed under a different type, before posting a question on this board. =(

Just curious - I wonder how this can happen? You cannot change the type of Shared Parameters after creation. And if you happen to create a Shared Parameter with the same name, it will have a different GUID. So the parameter type must have been changed using a text editor, I guess?

Not the type of Shared Parameter but where the Project Parameter created from the Shared Parameter shows:

In this case the Parameter "ISSUED FOR 1" is located under the "Text" Parameter type in lieu of the "Identity Data" type. My issue was that the "ISSUED FOR 1" parameter was down farther under the "Other" type. I just did not scroll down to see that it was placed elsewhere in lieu of where I expected it to be is all. The type of Shared Parameter is still a text type parameter and you are right, that cannot be changed unless you remove the parameter from your shared parameter list and re-create it under a new type.

Sorry for the confusion
