So, I have this peculiar thing happening: one of my colleagues, when opening a 3d of a revit model on his pc, has a series of graphic issues (like the 3d being not "smooth", hidden lines showing when they shouldn't..). Which we can live with. But the strangest thing is he cannot see furniture or doors. Before you ask me if we checked this and that:
1- No one in the office has any issue with this specific model
2- My colleague does not have the same problems when using this Revit (2020) to open any other model.
So: he uses the same pc with the same revit to open multiple models and only has issues with one of them. And no one else has these issues...!
Coulld anyone please help us?
Regards,
B.
Here it is, and thanks for getting back to me:
Sometimes you must delete your 3D view and create another one (the house icon on the top menu, near the save button)
Yeah, absolutely. In fact we closed/opened this particular model over several days but always with the same issues. Only this model and from one pc only..
Another thing to try out is uncheck Use hardware acceleration on file / options / hardware /
No change. Not only that: when in 3d, the "Model Display" goes authomatically on "Show Edges", wether he chooses "Realistic" or "Consistent Colour" or other. You can obviously uncheck everytime the Show Edges option, but when selecting another Visual Style, the Show Edges case gets ticked again! Frustrating actually.
