Hi. @Viveka_CD sorry for answering late, but i was really busy in my job
Well, this project was designed in Revit 2017 and we proved a point cloud file for engineering integration of a new project for departments, so, the really history was that I asked the board an opportunity to use this technology and show them the benefits to prevent and minimize interferences between engineerings and also adjust the budget.
I will show you another one.. ![]()

The images show that you merged point cloud and a Revit model.
Can you tell us more about your workflow, advantages and your integration between the two technologies?
What kind of building design this being used for? (i.e, factory, institutional etc?)

I took my revit model and exploded it for some marketing views.
It's a really big warehouse I did recently.
Awesome @David_Knight Thanks for sharing!![]()
I see that you've exploded the elevations and columns - Are you doing this for a marketing presentation?
It will great to have a color scheme too.
Related information on exploded views and animation in 3dsMax and displaced views in Revit and a video below:

It is an exploded 3D view in revit. We did not do the paint colors in revit though... it's not a complicated paint scheme - but painting the reveals on the wall become quite a task. So we use hatch areas on elevations to depict the paint colors.
I'll check out the Max video at lunch tomorrow. Thanks!

Hi @Viveka_CD, how are you ?
I'm working on a big logistics platform in France for a major postal service company. There are lots of linked models, some that come from other europeans countries (the industrial process inside the building for example).
Here is a quick picture :
BIM made it possible for us to solve lots of challenges, thanks to Revit.
Hi @jsanders
I'm good and hope you are doing great too!
That's an amazing project, sounds complex with lots of links and glad to know BIM made it possible!
