Hello,

I have tried to change the color of dimension line and dimension text to different colors. But it is giving the same color.

I want to change the measured dimension line and dimension text to different colors. Kindly let me know how I can deal with this.

Thanks in advance

Select the dimension >>> Edit type >> Duplicate >> Add the color name as a suffix to the new style and set the color

When placing the dimension, make sure you are selecting the right Dimension type from the drop down menu

Create a new Dim TypeCreate a new Dim Type

Make sure you select the newly created type when placing a dimensionMake sure you select the newly created type when placing a dimension

I do not know any other way to have a 2 color Dimension Type...

There is a possibility to create a line based detail item with a label that reads length ... ie: it would imitate tha Dimension but it is not actually one...this you can mix and add colors to it as you wish

Sure, here is a sample family you can look into and customize. (Note: After placing it you need to align and lock its ends to the element you are dimensioning to in order for it to stretch along and update - Remember this is a line based detail item with a generic annotation)
