Walls not unjoining

I have walls with a large banks of storefront.  Need to make some minor adjustments and I can't move them independently.  If I shift the wall the storefront moves too.  I pull the ends of the wall away from the storefront, it asks to unjoin elements, I say yes, move the wall and the storefront still moves.  This is so frustrating.  I want to move a single element...not everything connected to that one thing, just one section of wall.

I usually use Disallow Join on the endpoints of curtain walls when the are "inside" or surrounded by other walls. This makes them less vulnerable to the adjacent walls. It is necessary to deal with the surrounding walls differently, creating openings or editing wall profiles to create the cavity for the storefront to sit inside.

Tick Disjoin box when moving the curtain wall.

Or pin the moving parts (for example host wall) so they do not move and when you are done unpin.
