Walls not dimensioning to property lines on site plan

I am trying to dimension the home to the property lines, but it won't let me connect the two. 

I can snap to the walls, but then it won't let me snap to the property lines. 

Or I can snap to the property lines but not the house. 

If I draw lines it will let me snap to the house and the drawn lines, unless I draw my lines on top of the property lines, then they won't snap to them... 

I can draw a line close to the property line and a line on the house wall and connect those two. But if I align the line I drew with the property line it says they aren't parallel. I think the lines not being parallel is my problem, but how do I fix that?

Have you tried Linear dimensions and dimension between points? Use tab to find the points.

The Property Line is askew to the Building.  Find the nearest corner to that PL and draw an aligned dimension to PL from corner.

Aligned Dimension; right?  In other words, between nearest corner of building and askew property line?
