WALLS - Corner intersection in plan

Hello,

I have the following situation:

Two walls at a corner of a building (in PLAN), and I want only the exterior component to continue beyond the corner.

I attached 2 pictures to ilustrate the isuue. In the 1st picture is the situation in REVIT, in the second is the result I want (done in ACA).

How can it be done in Revit.

Thank you.

Easiest is to use a combination of 2 wall types...

  • First type UP TO the corner (with the 3 layer Gyps/Metal/Sandwich)
  • Second Type FROM the Corner Onward  (with only the Sandwich)

Alternatively you can split that wall into parts and:

  1. Either Divide and Exclude the layers/Parts which you do not want to extend beyond the corner
  2. Enable shape handles and draw/adjust the layers back to the corner

These 2 options I had in mind also. Out of the 2, the 1st one is the prefered one.If creating parts, I cannot for ex. add / edit walls or doors.

thank you
