Walls are not showing consistently.

Why do these walls show so differently?  Sometimes we see both walls and sometimes they join and become one.  We prefer to see both pieces. It is 2 walls. One existing and a new one that is being attached to the face of the existing.  All help appreciated.

Do Walls have a different Base Constraints or is it one Wall Type with Layer Base/Top Extension?

...can you post the file?  That would make this quick and easy.

It is 2 walls with the same base constraint and slightly different heights. New finish height doesn't go all the way to the deck.  A 20ft wall and a 19ft interior finish wall.

That's pretty much what I suspected.  Betcha all's good if they are the same; huh?

All of the interior finish walls are different heights, due to avoiding the structure above.  None of the interior walls are the same height as the adjacent walls.

Disjoin and Join geometry again.

FYI: height/base offset/top offset difference is not an issue unless your cut plane is at the height difference (cut one wall and not the other).  See example below.

Tried that.  But it ended up looking exactly the same afterwards. Was worth a shot.
