Wall wrapping issue: "new-to-existing" wall condition

In wall wrapping, if I have a wall that I want to wrap at defaults when the phase is new, it works OK.  But then when it meets a "existing" phase wall, or a wrapped column with existing wrapping, the end wrapping still is there before and after you put the wall over the existing wall.  This happens only in a few places where you have the existing wall or an isolated existing column.  I tried to find something in the properties dialog that will allow me to unwrap just that isolated joint "new-to-existing" condition, but could not find anywhere anything to do that.

How could I just unwrap that enwall condition without having to duplicate a new wall just for this?

Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about End Wall Wraps which is a Wall Type Property?  Sounds like you need a wall type with an end wrap and a duplicate wall type without an end wrap.  No?

Yes, I am trying to see if there is a quick way to do it for only "one" individual in the properties or elesewhae wall without the default (like you can create quick little 'exception" to the default wall without having to duplicate it) .  If thee is no way to do it, and only with a duplicate, that will be fine.  Will wait a little bit, and if no one responds otherwise, I will accept your solution.

Thanks a lot!

Just a thought, you could unjoin the specific wall and manually wrap at the exception.

How do you manually wrap the exception? Using "join"? Or...?
