Wall with Reveal - How to stop it from voiding joined walls as well????

I have a foundation wall with a reveal built in for a block out. I can't join any of my walls to this wall, because it applies the reveal to my joined walls. But i need to join my walls for my line weights to appear correctly in sections...

Try switch join order

Yes, that was my first thought, but then the concrete wall doesn't join to the framed wall on top correctly. So i need them to be in a specific join order already to look correctly.
