Wall types

I'am in an architectural template but I don't seem to have the basic wall types like  “Basic Wall Double brick – 270”. I need these families to do an assignment with. I have read in an answer to another person that I need to load either an Australian or UK project template and then the wall types etc will be available. How do I do that?

If you have a template file, click new project and browse the template.

If you don't have Australian or UK template, but you have some project file that was created in this template, you can use "transfer project standard" to transfer wall types from that project into yours.

If simply know what layers your walls should have, you can create your own wall types.

If you know the construction of the walls you need, it will be easier for you to just create them.

Thanks all, went with coping an existing project and getting wall types.  I have used autocad in construction design for the last 20 odd years, now we have changed to Revit, its quite hard to adapt .
