Hard to make out what you are showing in those screenshots, but no like issues here (e.g. disappearing sweeps).

Post your file.

I use a wall family to represent foundation constructions, where I've incorporated various sweeps into the type to illustrate the layers of the foundation (see Image 1).

My issue arises when I attempt to cut the terrain around the foundation using "Cut Geometry." The result is an overlap between the terrain and the foundation, as shown in Image 2.

To address the overlapping problem, I then try to use "Join Geometry," but unfortunately, all my sweeps disappear, leaving me with a result similar to Image 3.

This is not an isolated case. I also encounter similar challenges when I have a ledge in a wall with sweeps, and I attempt to use "Join Geometry" (see Images 4 and 5).

It is crucial for me to point out i use sweeps embedded in the family type (see Image 6).

Has anyone encountered similar challenges or has experience preserving sweeps during terrain cut and geometry join? I would appreciate any help or insights you can share.

Thank you in advance!
