Wall Types Australia

Hey everyone,

I am having an issue with Revit 2022. I have an education license in Australia and my latest download shows different wall types which I haven't seen or used before. On a different computer I had Generic Wall 100mm, Masonry Brick and others, now I can only see walls such as Basic Wall-Ext_102 etc. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thank you

It depends on the template you are using...however; Generic Wall type should exist in all templates (almost)

Try to type Generic in the search field and see if the drop down menu jumps to that category

Otherwise, Simply

  • Duplicate an existing wall type and name it Generic 100mm
  • then Edit its structure
  • Delete all layers outside the core
  • rest the Core layer to: Function Structure / 100mm thick / Material By Category /
