Wall Reveal wont cut mitered corner

I am trying to use the Wall Reveal tool to create a bullnosed wall opening. When I drag the ends of a vertical and horizontal sweep together, it creates a mitered corner but does not cut the wall with the corner. I am able to tell that the miter is created because when I click on the reveals the outline of the miter is present. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Why not model the Reveal In-Place along a continuous 3D Path?

...if you don't have In-Place Modeling capabilities, then model it in a Window Family Template.

@chelseakotun

Using the standard Reveal/Sweep tool does not always give the desired results and/or it can be quite a tedious process to generate the desired results.

Try the attached family from a previous post on the same subject .
